We Have (4) Positions Available



Sunrise Family Resource Center is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team of professionals. The CIS Family Support Home Visitor will be passionate about working with young children and families throughout Bennington County, and will offer support and education to families, while promoting well-being and building on unique family strengths.

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required for this 40-hour/week position, and experience working with young children and families is preferred. Compensation based on experience: $20-$23 per hour.

Sunrise Family Resource Center is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Parent Child Center team as a Family Supported Housing Case Manager. This creative individual will coordinate intake, placement, and ongoing case management for homeless families, as well as data entry, reporting on outcomes, and evaluation of the project.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience working in the fields of low-income housing, homelessness, and case management and possess excellent organization, time-management and writing skills. Familiarity with Medicaid billing; the ability to work well with Continuum of Care community partners and landlords; and an understanding of strength-based, family-centered practice a must.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred, and/or 4 years' experience in the field.

Job Type: Full-time. Paid bi-weekly, health insurance, paid holidays, earned time off and other benefits. Sunrise is an EOE. Compensation based on experience: $20-$23 per hour.

Sunrise Family Resource Center seeks a dynamic, energetic, organized Administrative Assistant to join our team.

Requirements:
  • Experience working in an office environment, required.
  • Intermediate computer skills with programs such as Windows, Office 365, Google Drive and Calendar, and data collection QuickBooks experience would be ideal.
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently and think outside the box.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Responsibilities:
  • Initial point of contact for agency: greet visitors, field incoming calls, make referrals to appropriate community partners and manage multi-line phone system
  • Support for Financial Office: process incoming payments, enter bills and donations
  • Administrative tasks: filing, order and maintain office supplies, copying etc.
  • Process bulk mailings and general incoming mail
  • General Administrative support for agency
Excellent written and oral communication skills and good boundaries are a must. This is a 30 hour per week position. Compensation based on experience: $16.50-$18.50 per hour. Sunrise offers an excellent benefit package and is an EOE.

Do you like to teach, giggle, inspire, play? Our licensed, NAEYC accredited, 5 STAR Early Care and Education Program at Sunrise Family Resource Center seeks early childhood education professionals. We are seeking committed individuals willing to work with children ages 6 weeks to three years. Candidates should love to get down on the floor to play and appreciate that early childhood is a messy business. Must be reliable, able to maintain confidentiality and work well in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with very young children and a willingness to attend periodic trainings outside of regular business hours. Preference given to those who are familiar with developmentally appropriate curriculum, trauma-informed practices and who have taken Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals or a 3-credit college course in Child Development. Sunrise is an EOE.
