We Have (5) Positions Available



Our licensed, NAEYC accredited, 5 STAR Early Care and Education Program at Sunrise Family Resource Center is looking for substitute classroom aids. We are seeking professionals who have experience with children ages 6 weeks to three years who loves to get down on the floor to play and appreciates that early childhood is a messy business. The ideal candidate will be able to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment, work well in a team atmosphere and provide education and support to parents.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience working with young children and their parents preferred. Strong organizational skills a must. Prospective candidates must have the ability to pass a background check with fingerprinting, to be completed upon employment.

Schedule:
This is an on-call, as needed, per diem position. Typical hours of our center are Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 3:00pm, with a 30 minute paid lunch.

Compensation:
$15 - $16/hour, based on experience

Our licensed, 5 STAR, NAEYC Early Care and Education Program at Sunrise Family Resource Center seeks early childhood education professionals. We are seeking two warm, caring, and positive teaching assistant to join our program. The teaching assistant is responsible for assisting teachers the development and implementation of a developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive curriculum for infants and toddlers. Teaching assistants are an essential support for our early care and education team! This is an excellent position for anyone looking to grow in the of early care and education profession.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Eligible candidates must have High School Diploma/GED and have completed Fundamentals for Early Childhood professionals or a 3-credit college course in Child Development.

Prospective candidates must have the ability to pass a background check with fingerprinting, to be completed upon employment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children. Preference given to those who are familiar with developmentally appropriate curriculum and trauma-informed practices.

Schedule: 40 Hours per week, Monday – Friday: Either 8:00am – 4:00pm or 8:30am – 4:30pm, with a 30 minute paid lunch. Compensation: $17 - $19/hour, based on experience

Primary Duties:

3. Maintain a friendly and open rapport with parents, hearing their hopes and concerns for their children and respecting their uniqueness and individuality.
4. Assist teachers in planning curriculum, procedures and activities, structuring and arranging a physical space to facilitate active learning, address safety issues' and create a pleasant environment.

Do you like to teach, giggle, inspire, and play? Our licensed, 5 STAR, NAEYC Early Care and Education Program at Sunrise Family Resource Center seeks early childhood education professionals. We are seeking a warm, caring, and positive floater teacher to support the three classrooms in our excellent program. The floater is responsible for covering breaks, assisting teachers, and assisting with the creation of enriching, exciting opportunities for our children ages 6 weeks to two-years-old. Floaters are an essential support for our classes! This is an excellent entry level position for anyone looking to enter the field of early education.

Primary Duties:
1. Maintain NAEYC Guidelines for Best Practices and all state licensing regulations in daily operations.
2. Work positively and collectively with others, as a team member of the ECE Program and the Sunrise community.

Sunrise is seeking an energetic individual who would like to help youth in Bennington County!

Job description:
Make a difference to youth in foster care by providing education, support, resource coordination and technical assistance in life skills development to help them succeed in the transition to independent living. We are looking for someone to join our team to collaborate with our Youth Development Coordinator. This individual will assist youth ages 14-23, either currently in state custody or who have a history of being in custody by providing activities to help them become self-sufficient and involved members of their community as they enter adulthood.

Requirements:
• The minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, with excellent verbal and written communication skills with at least two years’ experience working with youth preferred. • Must be able to pass a background check. Valid Driver’s License and ability to transport youth as needed.

Schedule: 20 Hours per week, Monday – Friday, flexible, in-person schedule. Compensation: Pay: $21.00 - $23.00/hour, based on experience.

2. Complete any required daily paperwork, lesson plans and notes.
3. Work positively and collectively with others, as a team member of the ECE Program and the Sunrise community.


Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (or related field), preferred. High School Diploma/GED and 21 early childhood education related credits required. Will consider applicants who are working on completing their associate’s degree and have a minimum of 12 early childhood education related credits. Experience working with children required. Prospective candidates must have the ability to pass a background check with fingerprinting, to be completed upon employment. Strong organizational skills a must. Knowledge of the philosophy and strength-based values of family centered services and early childhood education is an important part of this rewarding work.
