We Have (3) Positions Available



Our licensed, NAEYC accredited, 5 STAR Early Care and Education Program at Sunrise Family Resource Center is looking for substitute classroom aids. We are seeking professionals who have experience with children ages 6 weeks to three years who loves to get down on the floor to play and appreciates that early childhood is a messy business. The ideal candidate will be able to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment, work well in a team atmosphere and provide education and support to parents.

Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required. Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a background check. Experience working with young children and their parents preferred. Strong organizational skills a must. Prospective candidates must have the ability to pass a background check with fingerprinting, to be completed upon employment.

Schedule: This is an on-call, as needed, per diem position. Typical hours of our center are Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 3:00pm, with a 30 minute paid lunch.

Compensation: $15 - $16/hour, based on experience

Do you love to create healthy meals that children love to eat and explore? Sunrise Family Resource Center’s Early Care and Education (ECE) Program is the place for you! As the Sunrise ECE Cook, you will:
  • Prepare nutritionally balanced, healthy meals including breakfast, lunch, and snack daily for children ages three and under. Includes some classroom events with parents.
  • Plan menus that follow the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) nutritional requirements for children.
  • Use seasonal and locally available foods (Farm to School) whenever possible.
  • Keep a clean, well-organized kitchen.
  • Computer skills needed to plan menus, make food orders, and fill out CACFP documentation.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Those with relevant experience in a licensed childcare facility kitchen, commercial kitchen, public school cafeteria or equivalent, will be prioritized. Prospective candidates must have the ability to pass a background check with fingerprints at start of employment. Schedule: 25 Hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8am – 1pm Compensation: $16-$19/hour, based on experience.

Sunrise is seeking an energetic individual who would like to help youth in Bennington County!

Job description:
Make a difference to youth within the foster care system by providing education, support, resource coordination and technical assistance in life skills development to help them succeed in the transition to independent living. We are looking for someone to join our team to collaborate with our Youth Development Coordinator. This individual will assist youth ages 14-23, either currently in state custody or who have a history of being in custody by providing activities to help them become self-sufficient and involved members of their community as they enter adulthood.

Requirements:
  • The minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; minimum of three years’ experience working with youth. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. Valid Driver’s License and ability to transport youth as needed.
Schedule: 20 Hours per week, Monday - Friday, flexible, in-person schedule. Compensation: Pay: $22.00 - $24.00/hour, based on experience.
