Current Positions Available



Our licensed, NAEYC accredited, 5 STAR Early Care and Education Program at Sunrise Family Resource Center is looking for a full-time early education teacher. We are seeking a committed professional who has experience with children ages 6 weeks to three years who loves to get down on the floor to play and appreciates that early childhood is a messy business. The ideal candidate will be able to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment, have knowledge of trauma-informed practices, work well in a team atmosphere and provide education and support to parents.

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) and experience working with young children and their parents preferred; however candidates with other educational experience will be considered. Strong organizational skills a must. Knowledge of the philosophy and strength-based values of family centered services and early childhood education is an important part of this rewarding work.

Sunrise Family Resource Center is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Parent Child Center team as a Parent Educator. This creative individual will facilitate a variety of group opportunities for children birth to age 6 years and their families; specifically (including but not limited to) coordinating and facilitating parent support and education groups, and playgroups for children and their caregivers.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with major in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or other related human services field with 4 years' experience working with children and families. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of child development and possess the ability to build caring relationships. Comfort working with infants and pregnant women a must. Job Type: Full-time. Paid bi-weekly, health insurance, paid holidays, earned time off and other benefits.
