Current Positions Available



Sunrise is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Parent Child Center team as a Parent Educator. This creative individual will facilitate a variety of group opportunities for children birth to age 6 years and their families; specifically (including but not limited to) coordinating and facilitating parent support and education groups, and playgroups for children and their caregivers.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with major in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or other related human services field with 4 years' experience working with children and families. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of child development and possess the ability to build caring relationships. Comfort working with infants and pregnant women a must.  Lived experience encouraged!

Job Type: Full-time. $17-$19/hr, paid bi-weekly, health insurance, paid holidays, earned time off and other benefits. Sunrise is an EOE.

15-20 hours per week. Duties include daily cleaning of our early care classrooms and weekly cleaning of our office spaces. Responsibilities also include annual deep cleanings and ongoing facilities maintenance. Seasonal support, as needed, with gardens in the spring through fall, and early morning snow clearing during the winter months. Candidate will be available to work late afternoon hours, with some flexibility. Snow shoveling should take place prior to staff arrival by 8am.

Job Type: Part-time. $14-$16/hr, paid bi-weekly. Sunrise is an EOE.

Do you love caring for young children as they grow and learn?  Do you love being outdoors?  Do you love staying active and having fun?  Our licensed, NAEYC accredited, 5 STAR ECE Program is seeking a warm, caring, and positive person to support our three ECE rooms as a floater.  The floater is responsible for covering breaks, assisting teachers, and assisting with the creation of enriching, exciting opportunities for our children ages 6 weeks to three years.  Floaters are an essential support for our classes!  This is an excellent entry level position for anyone looking to enter the field of early education.  Sunrise offers a professional development package and a great work environment.  Applicants MUST have either completed a college level course pertaining to early education OR have completed the Fundamentals course. Sunrise is an EOE.

Job Type: Part-Time, 30 hrs per week.

Pay: Starting at $13.25 per hour, paid by-weekly

Our licensed, NAEYC accredited, 5 STAR ECE Program is seeking early childhood education substitutes. We are looking for committed professionals willing to work as needed with children ages 6 weeks to three years. Candidates should love to get down on the floor to play and appreciate that early childhood is a messy business. Must be reliable, able to maintain confidentiality, and work well in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with very young children and a willingness to attend periodic trainings outside of regular business hours. Preference given to those who are familiar with developmentally appropriate curriculum, trauma-informed practices, and those who have taken Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals or a 3-credit college course in Child Development. Sunrise is an EOE.

Job Type: Part-time, Temporary/as needed

Pay: $12.75 - $13.25 per hour, paid by-weekly
